There was no news about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach at gamescom – but that will soon change at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. Kojima Productions has now announced an appearance at the Japanese trade fair.
As is well known, Sony PlayStation is coming to the Tokyo Game Show again this year and will presumably and according to rumors possibly present the PlayStation 5 Pro there. Kojima Production is also taking this as an opportunity to make an appearance at the upcoming Asian games fair.
The “PlayStation Presents Death Stranding 2 Special Stage” panel has now been announced, where Hideo Kojima himself will be present along with other guests. The big stage talk will be about the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, so we can expect further details about the sequel here.
The panel will be broadcast on Sunday, September 29th from 10:30 to 11:30 Japanese time; so it will be 5:30 p.m. when it starts here. In addition to Kojima, guests include Daichi Miura, singer-songwriter and supporter of the TGS 2024, Kenjiro Tsuda, Nana Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama and Nicolas Winding Refn.
The Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 26 to 29, 2024.
As part of the State of Play, a new trailer for Death Stranding 2 was shown, which now has its final name with the subtitle On The Beach.
