Bethesda’s deathloop does another round. The action adventure will be postponed for the second time – luckily it will appear in 2021.
Bethesda and Arkane Studios have today via Twitter announced that they have to postpone the release of the action adventure Deathloop again. The new deadline for the title is September 14, 2021. Deathloop was supposed to be released for PC and PS5 at the end of 2020, but was then moved to May 2021 – and has now been delayed again.
In a short video statement in the tweet, the developers said they would make another shift, especially with regard to the health of employees. In addition, you want to meet your own expectations in terms of quality and achieving these standards simply takes longer in the current pandemic situation. Arkane promised to deliver new material for Deathloop soon.
Some players might be surprised that the Bethesda title will initially appear exclusively for PS5 and PC, although Bethesda has since been taken over by Microsoft. However, the exclusive deal was arranged before the takeover, and the same applies to GhostWire: Tokyo, by the way. Only when the exclusive deal ends, both games will also be available in Game Pass and on Xbox.
