Deep Silver announces a collaboration with PosterSpy to create six unique poster-inspired artworks for its latest game space shooter chorus. Each of the six works was created by a different artist, and each work features the protagonist Nara.
Every work of the artists is inspired by the long and rich history of science fiction images, and each work looks very unique.
“As a digital illustrator who loves science fiction and alternative posters, creating Chorus works immediately became interesting. Going into the background reveals my treasure trove of directly inputting inspiration points into my works,” said Lazare Gvimradze, one of the artists. Commissioned to create a work for this project.
“When approaching this concept, I was inspired by retro sci-fi artwork depicted in albums and comic art,” explained Felix Tindal, another artist on the project.
PosterSpy is “a display platform for poster artists around the world, and home to some of the world’s best alternative poster designers”. This expertise is reflected in the six works in the series. Each one is truly amazing.
You can see all six below. Try to guess what the inspiration for each of them came from.
Chorus is an X-Wing and Freespace style space combat shooting game, and it is also a year-end surprise for game fans. iGamesNews’s own Sherif Saed found himself “confident to recommend it based on Chorus’ mechanism and the amount of content you can access” in his review. If you like space shooting games, this is definitely one of them.
Chorus is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Stadia.
