The video game adaptation of Demon Slayer, slated for Japan only in 2021, is gradually revealing its character cast. Today the eleventh character in the roster is none other than Tanjiro with his hinokami techniques.
This is the traditional Monday meeting for Aniplex. The animation studio publishes Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan, the console adaptation of the manga of the same name. That’s why he publishes a short introductory video every Monday that shows a new playable character for the game. Today it is the Hinokami version of Tanjirô, the main character. In it he plays with fire: these techniques come from a mysterious paternal legacy that he is trying to master. It follows the pillar of flame Kyôjurô Rengoku, which was unveiled last week.
As a reminder, Demon Slayer: Hinôkami Kepputan is an arena fighting game developed by CyberConnect 2 and published by Aniplex. It will be released in France on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One at an unknown date. Even so, it is planned for Japan in 2021.
