blue dot gamethe developer of demon soul A remake appears to be teasing a new project, though no one knows what it might be.
Earlier this week, the PlayStation Blog shared a post with a slew of seasonal cards from various companies and developers working with Sony. There are lots of cutesy stuff like this one from the God of War series, and this incredibly comfy one from Tunic publisher Finji. But the most interesting one is Bluepoint Games, as it may tease its next project slightly.
The drawing is simple, four gift boxes, three of which are open, with a Demon Soul’s shield on the front, Kratos’ ax (the blue dot assists in Ragnarok), and Wander’s sword from Shadow of the Colossus. Finally, there was a box, still hung with a bow, completely untouched by excited hands. This certainly seems to indicate that Bluepoint has something more on the way, but obviously fans want to know what it is.
Bluepoint is rumored to be working on several new projects, one of which is reportedly a “remake of a popular game.” Of course, some fans want one title in particular: Bloodborne (thanks GamesRadar). In response to a tweet from NextGenPlayer, the Twitter user who shared the greeting card, another Twitter user wrote: “Please let God exist. Bloodborne, bloodborne, bloodborne, bloodborne, bloodborne.” To be sure That being said, their purpose is clear.
Considering it’s only 7 years old and just needs a little polish (notably a smoother frame rate), a Bloodborne remake is unlikely. Other fans are hoping for some sort of Metal Gear Solid remake, and there are already plenty of rumors elsewhere. Either way, it looks like something new from Bluepoint is on the way, so keep your eyes peeled and sharp.
