It is clear that the film saga of Harry Potter has changed the lives of virtually every actor and actress involved in the project. From Daniel Radcliffe to Emma Watson, each and every one of them will be remembered mostly for their time in the Wizarding World, although it seems that there is someone who doesn’t even remember their time in the franchise.
We talk about Evanna Lynchthe actress who played Luna Lovegood in the films, who through a special podcast focusing on the book series by JK Rowling, he stated that, although he is extremely happy to be part of this community, he often does not remember having participated in the films because he does not watch them due to the excessive emotional attachment he has towards them.
“I don’t watch the films because I find them too emotional, but recently Prisoner of Azkaban was on and my partner and I sat passively watching it and I had this strong feeling of, ‘I want to be a part of that world’, and then I remembered, ‘Oh, I’m a part of it already! ‘ The fans have kept that world very much alive in my life. I keep trying to find that sense of belonging in other communities but none have felt quite as resonant to me. So yeah, I’ll always be glad to be a familiar face in the Harry Potter world.”
Lynch recalls that her signing for the film series came about because, apart from having a certain resemblance to the character, she is a big fan of JK Rowling’s books, which helped her feel much closer to the essence of Luna Lovegood and her relationship with the most ardent fans of the most successful literary saga of all time.
Now, the franchise is close to experiencing a second youth after more than a decade of being low-profile thanks to HBO, which plans to launch a complete reboot of the entire saga in the form of a series that will offer a new point of view of the adventures of Harry Potter to hook the new generations of young people who dream of being wizards in the future.
