Slowly but surely more and more developers and publishers are jumping on the rolling train of the new consoles. Bungie has now confirmed that Destiny 2 is coming for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

It wasn't hard to guess that Bungie allowed his current flagship leap into the next generation. Bungie confirms via Twitter that we can also have fun on new consoles with Destiny 2, further details will follow soon.

The latter is also necessary, because a Destiny 2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X raises a lot of questions. For example, whether existing accounts and scores can be taken over completely (which is very likely considering the current cross save).
There is also the question of whether owners of the previous full versions and DLCs can upgrade free of charge, i.e. whether Bungie joins the Smart Delivery Service. It also remains to be seen what will happen to the old consoles in terms of crossplay. Will PS5 players be able to gamble with PS4 players? Or is it going to be very lonely in Destiny 2's multiplayer worlds?
We hope that Bungie will take a position on these issues soon.
Meanwhile, Bungie is working on some changes for Year 4 of Destiny 2, including revising the Eververse and there is a new transformation feature that allows you to convert armor into ornaments.
