Another update ruined Destiny 2.

After applying patch 2.7.1.1 today, Bungie took Destiny 2 offline due to reported missing items.

According to the official Bungie, players reported missing currency and materials.

This is the second time in the past few weeks that the game has been taken offline for emergency maintenance. The last time was update 2.7.1, which caused the problem of missing Glimmer.

Today is also the day when the game's Crimson Day event is scheduled to begin. It seems we have to wait for a while. Until then, read the patch instructions below and check out our Crimson Days event guide.

Iron banner

  • Added a Triumph to track iron banner packages obtained in Season 9. This will retroactively calculate all packages that have been obtained this season.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from completing Efrideet's gift victory when they received 50 iron banner packages in Season 9.

Gambit

  • Fixed an issue where resetting the Infamy level might reset progress in the "Get Closer" quest. This is retrospective, and it will be done automatically for all players who have passed Mythic this season.

eternal

Carousel

  • Fixed an issue where solar-powered emotional creatures were priced incorrectly. Now the price of Emote will be correctly set to 500 silver and the carousel will be visible again.
