The new season is approaching with giant strides and even if Bungie is unusually quiet, there are a few new things, mainly related to events and a new dungeon.
Has it really been three months since the release of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen? Anyway, May 24th marks the start of Season 19 of the game. Bungie is currently keeping a low profile when it comes to the same. There is still neither a trailer nor a name for the season, and certainly no information on the subject. Well aware of how to respond to the current “This Week at Bungie” – the developers want to tease us a bit this time.
There is still news, because in addition to the patch notes for update 4.1.0, which includes balancing adjustments and various fixes, there is an increase in the bank inventory, among other things. In addition, with the new season, the light level will be increased by 10 levels, the new values are:
- Base level: 1350 (unchanged)
- Soft Cap: 1510
- Powerful Cap: 1560
- Hard Cap: 1570
Furthermore, Bungie announces that on May 27th a new dungeon will come into play, which can be played from the recommended level of 1550. Of course, the new dungeon brings you new loot in the form of an armor set per class, as well as various legendary weapons and exotics.
Apart from that, the new season will bring some changes to the regular events. New event cards are designed to boost motivation to complete various challenges and unlock new rewards as part of these events. Details and a trailer for the new season are expected to be announced on Tuesday, May 24th, the day before launch.
