Bungie currently has to make up a lot of ground when it comes to Destiny 2 so that the release of The Final Shape in June doesn’t completely fail. This is supposed to be ensured by a new feature that should actually be a given.
Bungie is currently taking a beating after a poor add-on, mixed seasons and some stupid decisions. There are also layoffs at the studio, an allegedly bad mood and the postponement of the expansion Destiny 2: The Final Shape from February to June. Phew.
At least Bungie now seems to be trying to make up some ground. It has now been announced that years after the start of the series, a feature that is now almost a given in MMOs and online titles is finally coming into the game via an update, namely the subsequent adjustment of the appearance of your characters and that does not include the outfits meant.
Although you won’t be able to change your race, everything else will be free and unlimitedly customizable. So hair, face, gender, body type, features – you can give your character a complete makeover as often as you want. So stop hiding your character creation failures under your helmet. The corresponding update should definitely be installed before The Final Shape.
Apart from that, the current season continues. Starting January 30, Riven’s Wishes will feature new weekly quests for six weeks, allowing you to redeem a prize of your choice from a pool of rewards. The same day also launches Moments of Triumph 2023, offering both in-game and physical Bungie rewards and thirty challenges for the final year of your achievements.
