Bungie is making changes to Sword in Destiny 2.

Soon, Destiny 2 Players will find that the damage value of the sword will change for different attacks, and the privileges of various swords are adjusted.

According to the latest update from Bungie, the team has been listening to feedback on Sword features and plans to make the use of the weapon more "attractive."

This means that the weapon will be rebalanced and users can expect to use a new meter.

The sword will now have its own energy reserve, which will replenish itself. Not to be confused with the capacity of the ammunition, energy will now transcend the melee state when swung, and will be used for "various actions".

Now all swords will be able to split, and a light attack on the ground will cycle through infinite combos to separate it from heavy attacks.

Speaking of heavy attacks, these attacks will now consume Sword's energy, but will be more powerful when full of attacks. Air blows generally do not consume Sword's energy, but this also depends on the use of Sword's energy.

Nothing will use the energy guard of the sword. Different guards will have different depletion rates, damage resistance and behavior, and you will need an ammunition to start guarding. With this change, Bunge wants players to be able to use their guards "intelligently" to protect themselves, rather than being used universally. The fortress has also been modified to "still provide a unique escort experience for the Titans."

In addition, more sword attacks will now be able to partially bypass Elemental Shields. It was added to be different from the shotgun, which plays a role similar to CQC weapons in combat.

Bunge said it will cover more changes in capability weapons, some of which will focus on PvP and PvE.

Next week, the annual Crimson Days event will return to Destiny 2 and you can look forward to a wide range of new products and some going back favorites.
