prolific actor Lance Reddick Passed away of natural causes on Friday, March 17 at the age of 60.
His death was confirmed to Yahoo News by Mia Hansen, his representative for Portrait PR, who said he will be “deeply missed.”
Redick is best known for his role as Charon, the concierge at the Continental Hotel, in the John Wick films, appearing in numerous films and television series. Movies include “Angel Has Fallen”, “Godzilla vs. King Kong”, “I Dream of Africa”, “White House Has Fallen” and so on. TV roles include Lost, The Wizard of Oz, The Wire, and playing Albert Wesker on Netflix’s short-lived Resident Evil series, among others. He has also voiced for various series in the anime genre.
In video games, Reddick voiced characters in 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Payday 2, Quantum Break, Horizon Zero Dawn, John Wick Hex, and Horizon Forbidden West.
For nine years, Reddick voiced Commander Zavala Play as the titan vanguard and vanguard commander of the last city in the game of destiny. Zavala was responsible for all of the Guardians’ military operations and led the Guardians in the Tek War and the Red War, both of which were victorious.
In celebration of Redick’s life and contribution to the Olympic Games, destiny 2 Players keep vigil at Zavala station in the tower. Since news of his death broke overnight, thousands of people have paid their respects with a variety of expressions. The vigil is expected to continue throughout the weekend, possibly longer.
