Bungie will host a destiny 2 A reveal event on August 22 will give a full look at the final form.
A working title that may change, The Final Shape is the eighth expansion pack for Destiny 2 and the twelfth in the Destiny series.
The expansion pack will be the final content pack for the saga of light and dark, in which all events will unfold.
As you can see in the teaser video, everyone’s favorite hunter, Cayde-6, makes a cameo appearance, once again played by actor Nathan Fillion.
Showtimes will be available closer to the livestream, but hopefully the development team breaks down everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 expansion and the future.
Last night, during the PlayStation Showcase, Bungie announced its next game, Marathon. In this sci-fi PvP escape shooter, you play as a runner, a non-cybernetic mercenary, exploring a lost colony on the planet Tau Ceti IV in search of riches, fame, and disgrace.
Bungie’s first Marathon, released for the Mac in 1994, was a first-person shooter set centuries in the future in outer space.
This iteration is currently in development for PlayStation 5 and PC, with full cross-play and cross-save. A release date was not announced.
