The middle NintendoSoup reports that Nintendo Japan has uploaded two private videos of Detective Pikachu on your Japanese YouTube account. The original video game of this new character in the Pokémon franchise premiered in 2018 for the Nintendo 3DS, so everything points to this movement having to do with the sequel announced for Nintendo Switch in May 2019. This new game was announced in anticipation that it would be re-developed by Creatures, Inc, although no additional details were revealed at the time.
In 2019, the Detective Pikachu movie became a huge success to the point of becoming the highest grossing video game tape in history, so it was expected that producer Legendary announced that it would be releasing a sequel to the film, such and as has happened with the game on which it is based.
Few more details about Detective Pikachu 2, though hopefully the plot of the Nintendo 3DS game will continue, before a totally open closing. This first title introduced us to Tim Goodman, an 18-year-old college student with a strong sense of justice, who formed an unexpected alliance with a talking Pikachu. The game involved collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and following up clues to unravel various Ryme City mysteries.
The timing of the new Detective Pikachu news will be totally unknown. However, everything points to the celebration of a new Nintendo Direct
The Nintendo Switch catalog for 2020 is not very marked. Hopefully the big N will date Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition in the coming days and what is clear is that there are more titles to announce. Detective Pikachu 2 is a clear candidate
