Control 2: That is known so far
Release is still a long time coming: It will be quite a while before Control 2 appears. According to the official announcement, the project is currently in the concept phase. This means that actual development hasn’t even started yet and Control 2 won’t be out for a couple of years at the earliest.

Control 2 comes to these platforms: Not surprisingly, Control 2 will not be released for the old generation of consoles. The release for PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is currently available.
A handsome budget for the sequel: Control 2 is already funded with a budget of at least 50 million dollars, which should cover development, marketing and post-launch content. It refers to the biggest investment
that the publisher has ever made. The costs are shared fairly between 505 Games and Remedy – the same applies to the profit.
What else is known: Control 2 is again created in the Northlight Engine, which was or is already used in Quantum Break, Alan Wake or Max Payne. In addition to Control 2, Remedy is also working on it Project Condor
– a co-op focused multiplayer spin-off of Control, as well as Alan Wake 2 and remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2 with Rockstar. So Remedy has its hands full.
