Because we’re clearly witnessing an evil arc in Diablo 4, Blizzard has created yet another reason for players to feel uneasy, only this one isn’t any weirder than most. No, this isn’t a mind-bending gameplay change, like much of Constructed Seasons is.
This is another store bundle that costs real money in exchange for perhaps the tiniest cosmetic tweak yet, and is somehow far more significant than the game’s (very common) vest, and far more expensive.

This week, Diablo 4 players received a new bundle in the game store, priced at a whopping $30. The bundle comes with 5 portal skins (actually, most are recolors) and 1,000 platinum, the paid currency.
Technically the price for five people is $20, but you’ll pay $30 and Blizzard will happily refund you the $10 difference. You know, so you can stay in the system and maybe spend it on some other overpriced cosmetics.
As you might expect, people aren’t exactly approaching this issue with open arms.To be honest, there are no bundles in the Diablo 4 store yet, but at least you possible Being able to justify a cool piece of mount armor, or a skin that makes your barbarian look like an infernal demon—even if you rarely appreciate it because of how zoomed out the game’s perspective is.
On Reddit, disgruntled Diablo 4 players have been complaining about the absurdity of it, especially since $30 is about half of Diablo 4’s full price of $70. In fact, the game is selling for about $10 more than its original price. bundle. And, as many others in the comments have pointed out, that’s how much popular games like Palworld cost, and it’s close enough to get you a copy of the excellent Helldivers 2.
But perhaps most shockingly, portals are… category-specific. This is the first time Diablo 4 has created class-specific portals. This might make sense for armor and weapons, considering not every class has access to the same weapons, but what about portals?
For $30, you get the Tempest Gate Sorcerer Town Portal, Transit Artery Rogue Town Portal, Netherworld Threshold Necromancer Town Portal, Wildroot Way Druid Town Portal, and Warpath Barbarian Town Portal. In the past, class-specific recolors and unique skins were viewed as some sort of mastery achievement, and when you think about it, this is one area where Diablo 4 is severely lacking.
After the backlash of Season 3 and the subsequent disappointment of the Moon Awakens limited-time event, Diablo 4 has somehow slipped back into a state where player sentiment is either negative or apathetic, which isn’t exactly the best time for this to happen. What if a new big competitor is about to be released?
