A new live stream is planned for Diablo 4 this week and Blizzard wants nothing less than to announce the first season.

A few weeks after the launch of Diablo 4, Blizzard will again host a live stream with the developers on July 6, 2023 at 8 p.m. German time.
During this presentation, the publisher will announce the first season of Diablo 4, which will also bring the Battle Pass.
If you want to play the season (“Season”), you have to create a whole new character. In return, you get the chance to find season-specific items in the game and keep them after the season is over. Once you’ve completed the game, a few things will become easier as you progress. So you don’t have to look for all of Lilith’s altars again in Diablo 4.
