Tonight (June 27) readers are increasingly reporting that they are having trouble logging into Diablo 4. So the game would not be playable.

We gave it a try and noticed that Blizzard released an update. This must first be installed before the game starts. In fact, we also notice long loading times after character selection. Try it several times in a row or try again later.

In addition, the developers have announced maintenance work for the evening. But you should also be able to play during this time, since the work is being carried out “live”. Of course, there can be impairments such as disconnections. It’s better if you don’t play the “Hardcore” mode today, where a virtual death means the end of the game.
