It starts (again) on Friday, March 24th at 5 p.m.: The long-awaited Diablo 4 Open Beta starts and you can play the action role-playing game yourself – even if you haven’t pre-ordered.
One of the key shared world features that has sparked debate since Diablo 4 was first announced at Blizzcon 2019 is the world bosses.
On the two beta dates there is a total of eight opportunities to be the first World Boss Ashava with a group of friends or random teammates.
You have four dates for the Open Beta. We show you all the times and the location on the map.
Updated March 21, 6:49 p.m: Also for the Open Beta of Diablo 4 the change World boss spawn times. It appears Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Central European Time.
When and where on the map you can defeat the world boss Ashava
How can I defeat the world boss? If you want to take on Ashava, you should first reach the maximum level of the beta, which is level 25. Eventually, Ashava will also have this level.
Where to find the world boss on the map? You must go to the location of the world boss on the map. You can find him in the area Shattered peaks
(English: Fractured Peaks) in a small zone called The Crucible
(The Crucible).
World boss times on the map
It is important that you show up at the spawn point at the right time. After the end of the closed beta, you will still have four world boss times available in the open beta. The times for World Boss Ashava in Diablo 4 are as follows:
- March 25, 2023: 6pm and 8pm (Open Beta)
- March 26, 2023: 7am and 9am (Open Beta)

What are world bosses? The world bosses in Diablo 4 are powerful enemies that should only be defeated in a group of up to twelve players in co-op. So they are sort of raids or raids that are waiting for you in the shared world.

Diablo 4 as MMOs
It can be assumed that you will only be able to defeat the world bosses for a limited time in the finished game. At the same time, this is the only event so far in which other players are absolutely necessary.
