game news Diablo 4 players are frustrated with the rare and unique item system and are listing everything that’s wrong in hopes Blizzard will listen
For many people, the main source of frustration in Diablo IV is the “enumeration.” Therefore, players choose to decorate the “i” with unique and legendary items.
It’s been over a month since the release of Blizzard’s latest title: Diablo IV. Unfortunately, end-game weaknesses are causing problems for many players who are frustrated with this new “item system” (the whole gear system, its balancing, how to get it, etc.). . In the absence of viable gear sets – like previous Diablo sets – there is more efficient and specialized loot, but also a more challenging and varied endgame content
While Diablo IV seems to place more emphasis on assembling a character’s loadout, its big brother placed more emphasis on challenging the player through increasingly difficult levels. Since the release of Reaper of Souls, it’s been relatively easy to get hold of an effective set of objects, but knowing how to get the most out of them and push yourself to the limit with increasingly difficult mistakes was the “real” goal of the title : further and further, faster and faster.
An endless race
In Diablo III, getting loot was not an end in itself. This is what he allowed to achieve. While the shift in focus from loot to content for Diablo IV isn’t necessarily a bad thing, the main problem players face is that certain items and bonuses are useless or the drop rate is way too low. And when an item’s drop rate was accidentally increased, Blizzard was quick to fix the issue.
There are also major balance issues for many players. Like bows, which are completely useless to thieves because they hardly take any damage. The affixes and legendary aspects also suffer from being overly situational, making spending several hours trying to obtain them even less desirable. Not to mention the problems with enchantment and its huge cost. It’s more interesting to turn a rare item into a legendary one in hopes of finding the properties you want than to mod a simple legendary weapon with the wrong bonuses.
While the title has many qualities, it might still take a while before it fully unfolds its true potential. The game service nature of Diablo IV at least guarantees that the game and its expansions will be supported for many years to come. Diablo 4 is available
