The Diablo IV beta testing phase is casting its shadow. In advance, Blizzard Entertainment has now announced and summarized the times for the pre-load of the client as well as other details.
This coming weekend, pre-orderers of Diablo IV will be able to get their hands on Blizzard Entertainment’s new action role-playing game for the first time as part of early access to the open beta, before anyone interested can jump in next weekend. If you want to prepare for the test phases and don’t want to waste any time, you can download the required client in advance.
Blizzard has now confirmed the times for the pre-load. For early access, the client can already be downloaded from tomorrow, March 15th at 5:00 p.m. Those who are just getting into the general and generally accessible open beta can start the pre-download on March 22nd at 5:00 p.m.
In the trial, you’ll be able to enter the snow-capped Shattered Peaks and head to Kyovashad, a safe zone in the mountains. In addition to the main quest line there are also many side quests waiting. For example, near Nevesk you can look out for the side quest “The Lumberjack of Nevesk”.
Scattered all over the place, you will find dungeons and events that will present you with special challenges. World events are small instances that appear randomly in zones. They range from lost souls to escort to obelisks to saturate with blood. Legion events are lengthy instances involving repelling hordes of demons. They can appear after capturing bases.
A world boss, Ashava, is also making its way into the Open Beta Early Access. This can be found in Shattered Peaks on March 18 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., March 19 at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., and in the public beta on March 25 at 6 p.m and 8:00 p.m. and on March 26 at 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
You can find many more interesting details about the beta in the published here Open Beta Guide.
