Blizzard Entertainment has announced the start date for the new Infernal Hordes season in Diablo IV.

Fans of Diablo IV will soon be getting new supplies, because the season of the infernal hordes is just around the corner. Today, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced the start date – and it’s not far away. It will start in the new week on August 6th at 7:00 p.m. German time.

In the new season, Blizzard promises unusual alliances and wave-based hell hordes that will present you with new challenges. The whole thing had already been tested on the Battle.net Public Test Realm, or PTR for short. The development team also collected a lot of feedback there and evaluated and incorporated it into the final launch.

The eponymous Hell Hordes are – as mentioned – a wave-based new feature; you can tackle them solo or with friends. You choose hellish offerings between waves to increase the power of the opponent and the final rewards. You can play on both realms: on the seasonal realm with the build-up to a seasonal quest line and on the eternal realm, where you can start on world level III after a new quest line.

At the end of each Infernal Horde run, you will face the Cruel Council. There are five members of the Cruel Council, and you will have to fight three different, random members. On the seasonal realm, Hellbreach dungeons give you a first taste of what awaits you in Infernal Hordes.

And what else? The season introduces over 50 new unique and legendary items that will stay with you even after the end of the season. Seasonal progress lets you collect chests that you can loot from the powerful servants of Hell. And you can also progress in the Season Journey and by completing the new Battle Pass with 28 free and 62 premium tiers.
