The next prestigious awards have been presented – and once again From Software’s action epic Elden Ring has struck. The title could snag the next Game of the Year award.
The Elden Ring success story just doesn’t want to end when it comes to important awards. The game is already a leader and record-holder when it comes to Game of the Year awards – and now it’s added another weighty one.
Recently, the DICE Awards were presented for the 26th time – and Elden Ring once again won the most important category. In doing so, one sat down again above all against the biggest competitor God of War Ragnarök. The bottom line is that both games were able to dust off several awards at the same time.
In addition to the most important category, Elden Ring also won the award in Game Design and Game Direction; in total it was enough for five awards. God of War: Ragnarök collected seven awards, including those for art direction, audio design and story.
Other winners in individual categories include Vampire Survivors, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Gran Turismo 7. You can see all the winners in the following overview. Horizon: Forbidden West, which was nominated in three categories but failed to win any of them, went away empty-handed.
