The Simpsons continue to feed the conspiracy theories in which they predict many events that are happening in the world. Why have The Simpsons supposedly guessed the future so many times? One of the most obvious was the election of Trump as president or the acquisition of FOX by Disney almost 10 years earlier. Too many coincidences say the most skeptical fans. And the coronavirus crisis has only confirmed these theories because there is an episode in which a virus is seen traveling from Asia to the United States, infecting Homer, Skinner or Chief Wiggum. Now fans think that Tom Hanks' spread of coronavirus they also guessed.
The American actor confirmed that he and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus. Until then few famous personalities had given this news and therefore it has had quite an impact. According to fans, The Simpsons have been able to predict this situation because in the movie released in 2007 Tom Hanks makes a disturbing cameo that many have related to the pandemic.
During the film, Springfield is isolated by worrying levels of pollution that have mutated a squirrel. But there are other plans for the city: destroy it and turn it into a new Grand Canyon. Tom Hanks stars in the ad for propaganda purposes camouflaged as a tourist to convince the people of the government's decision. And that's where the family, who was in Alaska, realizes that they want to destroy Springfield. But the scene that would refer to the coronavirus does not say it until the end of it.

In the closing credits, Tom Hanks interrupts again to say the phrase: "If you see me, leave me alone". But many have understood it as "stay away from me," referring to their coronavirus infection. Obviously it is a coincidence and only that, don't you think? The Simpsons invite many celebrities, but strangely enough, not everyone agrees to participate in the show.
