Digimon analysis A beautiful little trailer has been revealed during the Digimon con. In it, we see various characters in the movie, new Digimon, and some gameplay! We don't have a release date, though, so you have to hold on to more news and when you can actually play it.
According to the game's new website, it will be a free mobile game and use in-app purchases. Any other information must be collected from the trailer itself, so do some first-class analysis of this yourself. You can also see yourself below!

Starting directly from the bat, we see the game playing – the player has a bunch of cards in his hands, reminiscing the existing physical card game. So it does seem to be a faithful entertainment to existing formats. Afterwards, we see the Pixel Art Digimon with a connection level. Now, we don't know how this works, but it seems that players can choose and upgrade the collection of Digimon avatars. These don't seem to be in common with the card itself either, but hey, if you like the idea of putting the little guy vigi-digi-dimbovilly, that seems to be a feature.
We then took a picture of what seemed to be the packaging and a card collection screen. Very standard. Most importantly, we saw the beginning of the PVP match between the two players. So yes, this looks like a multiplayer card game, not some sort of PVE single player game.

After that, various characters are displayed and all characters look cool. But the real meaty reveal is a new Digimon! Gemmon looked a bit rabbit, with a big gem on his forehead and several rabbits embedded in his body. Gemmon didn't feel too painful about it, and in fact, the whole incident seemed strange. As much as possible! Being a Digimon is cool.
This is basically what we get. We did see the logo of Bandai Namco at the end of the trailer, which is the main developer behind the game, and that makes sense.
