The State of Play was an opportunity to discover Exoprimal. This title is a cooperative shooter in which players have to face dinosaurs. Explanations!
This isn’t exactly the announcement Capcom fans have been waiting for, but we were still entitled to the Exoprimal surprise. As you can see in the trailer above, this is a supercharged shooter in which a futuristic city is being invaded by dinosaurs! 65 million years of evolution to achieve this.
Exoprimal does not lace
To counter the various Jurassic and Cretaceous creatures, players can count on a diverse arsenal ranging from a simple saber to a full exoskeleton, including an autocannon turret. In short, you will have heavy equipment to defend yourself and cause a second dinosaur species extinction.
So it’s not Dino Crisis, but at least the game will have a dose of tyrannosaurs and velociraptors. And that is the main thing.

But the dinosaurs won’t be the only enemies as part of it actually takes place 5 vs 5 vs the AI. So we rely on a classic but effective PvPvE system.
Exoprimal is planned for PS4 and PS5 in 2023 without further details.
