Who does not know the characteristic click of mechanical keyswhen the teammate in Ark again tames dinosaurs. Or the deafening rattling when the CS: GO partner bangs his mouse on the table top in anger. Even simple conversations or a running television in the background can disturb the players while gaming.
The voice chat platform Discord wants to remedy the situation at least for the less loud noises. For this, the AI-based help program starts Krisp as a beta version on Discord.
The software filters out background noise from your conversations, so that apart from your voice, practically nothing should be transmitted from the depths of the room.
This is what the Krisp software does
By analyzing the microphone noise, Krisp tries to suppress all background noise in your conversations if possible. And that actually worked very well for us: in a short test run, the normal typing on the keyboard, which otherwise always got through to our conversation partner, was completely filtered out.
So must also your interlocutor activated the Krisp beta so that you can benefit from the advantages. You can activate the software in the "Language & Video" item in the "Advanced" category.
