Disney changes the release date of the New Mutants

The New Mutants is a film that has gone through several changes of release dates, originally when it was part of the rights of 20th Century FOX, it was going to be released on April 13, 2018, but was later delayed postponing its date to on February 22, 2019 and once Disney took over the FOX rights, it was set for August 2, 2019. However, The New Mutants was to be released on April 3, 2020

But unfortunately the pandemic did not allow that to happen and for that reason Disney has been forced to delay it once again.

In this case, the company has decided to leave the film's premiere for August 28, a rather distant date, but with sense, since it has been moved with the intention of preventing the coronavirus from spreading. This was announced today via Twitter where the account description has been updated

to «those New Mutants coming to theaters august 28» (those New Mutants that will hit theaters on August 28). In addition, a new publication has also been shared with the cover of the film and says "we’re back" (we are back).
