Marvel will premiere in style on the Disney + streaming platform with the first live-action series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision debut their first seasons later this year, it will be the turn of Loki in early 2021. However, everything indicates that the series starring Tom Hiddleston will have more than one season, since Clark Gregg, actor of Agents of SHIELD, has advanced a hitherto unknown information.
Gregg has expressed in an interview that Tom Hiddleston told him that he was doing about 10 or 12 episodes with a high budget and the production team of Marvel Cinematic. However, official information from the Loki series pointed out that its first season would only consist of 6 episodes, like Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision, so the possibilities if Gregg’s information is not wrong are two: either Marvel has lengthened the number of episodes in the series or this will have a second season later
In the Loki series, Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as God of Deception in a new story that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Kate Herron will direct her episodes and Michael Waldron will be their lead writer. Among its cast, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard E. Grant and Sopia Di Martino stand out. Filming of the series started at the beginning of the year, filtering numerous images.
