The start of the Shōgun series and the conclusion of the epic Star Wars: The Bad Batch are the main events in February 2024 on Disney+. On the streaming platform, which brings together all the heroes from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and many others, there are new films, original series and unexpected short films to discover every day.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 3
The announcement of the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch was made a few days ago via a trailer, which can be found above in French. Produced in 3D, this animated series was intended to complete the expanded universe of the franchisefollowing episodes of the successful animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
In this third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, The unruly, genetically modified clones of the Bad Batch are targeting Omega who, in turn, is stuck in an isolated Imperial laboratory. These 15 new episodes offer them the opportunity to forge new alliances and uncover sinister conspiracies on the edge of the galaxy. The first three episodes will be released simultaneously on Disney+ from February 21st, with the rest of the series scheduled to release weekly.

Shogun
Born on the pages of a 1975 novel by James Clavell, the screenplay by Shogun has its roots in the history of feudal Japan around 1600, on the eve of a major civil war. The main character is clearly inspired by the Daimyō Ieyasu Tokugawa The events are described from the perspective of an English ship commander named John Blackthorne. The key elements of the literary saga were intended to be repeated more or less faithfully in the original series Shogun which is expected on Disney+ on February 27th. The adaptation of this bestseller takes place in 10 episodes, reserved for profiles over 16 years old. The streaming platform promises “an epic saga of passion, war and power struggle in the heart of feudal Japan.”

Himself
Himself (or Himself in the original version) is a creation of Pixar Studios. This is an original short film that combines two different production techniques: 3D animation and stop motion. Himself will therefore be the first “hybrid” animated short film to be included in Pixar Studios’ SparkShort program. It shows the extraordinary and intimate journey of a wooden doll in search of himself. But how do you integrate into society and fit in without denying your own personality? This search for identity by director Searit Huluf can be discovered on Disney+ from February 2nd.

The series is based on the novel by Charmaine Wilkerson Black cake There will be 8 episodes available to watch on Disney+ from February 7th. The plot relates the tortured existence of a young woman whose actions will have consequences for her own offspring. The title of the series comes from the mysterious black cake that the deceased left her children and a disturbing voice recording that will lead her to uncover dark family secrets. This family drama will span several generations in geographically very distant places: Jamaica, Italy, Scotland, California and England. series Black cake is available exclusively on Disney+.

Spectacular turn of events
Intended for viewers interested in police investigations, Spectacular turn of events is a film that oscillates between tension, glamor and comedy. The events take place in London’s West End in the 1950s when a strange murder is committed. The victim is a director who has come from Hollywood to sign the film adaptation of a successful play. But the man is murdered and filming is interrupted. The two people responsible for the investigation seem to be diametrically opposed: While Agent Stalker stands out for his zeal and feminine stubbornness, Inspector Stoppard seems to be one of those who can no longer be moved by anything. But the discoveries they will make could put them in a dangerous situation themselves.
