- Disney+ launches in 42 new countries this spring and summer.
- The streaming service will be available in Turkey, Poland and the Balkans, among others.
- Once Disney+ launches in a country, you no longer need a VPN to stream there.
Anyone who simply calls up the streaming service of their choice on vacation in the hotel room, on the train or at the airport often experiences a nasty surprise there: International streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ block their content where you cannot officially book their offer.
Popular holiday countries such as Turkey are also affected by the relatively young Disney+ streaming service. The only remedy is a VPN, with which you can access the streaming content via a country with a corresponding offer.
Disney+ soon available without a VPN in 42 new countries
The problem with this: It is not uncommon for a VPN connection to result in a slower connection – and this means that UHD content in particular can hardly be accessed. In addition, not everyone can or wants to easily book a VPN service and install the corresponding client everywhere.
With the launch of Disney+ in 42 new countries, this problem is a thing of the past, at least in the corresponding areas. Here’s a list of the countries where Disney+ will be available soon, including the launch date and price in each country’s currency.
