Disney’s Valley of Lights launched as an Early Access release in 2022 and has been receiving tons of updates and new content since then. Given GameLoft’s latest sim roadmap, it looks like 2023 will once again be a fruitful year for Dreamlight Valley fans.
Share to Disney Fantasy Valley Twitter And blog, GameLoft revealed its content roadmap for early 2023, and there’s a lot to learn from it. Beginning in February, the game will introduce new characters, realms, star paths, and more throughout the year.
In February, Disney’s Dream Valley will feature Encanto’s Mirabel and Frozen’s Goofy Yeti Olaf. Secrets will also be revealed in Frosted Heights and a new interstellar path centered on Disney’s 100th anniversary.
Then, in April, we’ll have a visit from Simba, The Lion King. There will also be a whole new realm, and given Simba’s arrival, we might assume it’s The Lion King, but only time will tell. April’s Star Path will also be Disneyland-themed.
Last but not least, there’s the summer update. The Disney Dreaming Valley update promises to “unravel forgotten secrets” and features purple versions of the player characters. It’s a hint that evil versions of our characters are living out there somewhere, and maybe in the summer we’ll get more answers about what they’re up to.
Throughout the rest of 2023, Disney’s Lights Valley promises more characters, realms, costumes, decorations, furniture, and perhaps the most exciting addition of all: multiplayer.
What updates or upcoming additions to Disney Dreaming Valley are you most looking forward to? I’d be lying if I didn’t say the one thing missing from my experience was multiplayer, so I’m excited for it!
