The latest Mad Max film isn’t about Mad Max at all. Instead, Furiosa focuses on Immortan Joe’s Emperor from Fury Road – as the title might suggest. But Max Rockatansky could still play a role in Furiosa – for example as part of a cameo appearance?

Does Mad Max have a cameo in Furiosa?
Miller now confirms: Yes, Mad Max has a cameo in Furiosa. The exact details are currently not known, but fans will have to wait until the cinema release on May 23, 2024.
But at least one thing is certain: Max is not played by Tom Hardy in Furiosa. Instead, the proud owner of the V8 Interceptor is played by Jacob Tomuri, who took on the role of Tom Hardy’s stunt double in Fury Road. Miller himself says that he is no one better
for Max Rockatansky’s cameo in Furiosa.

That sounds suspiciously like Max would only get a small appearance in Furiosa. For example, perhaps we only see his car speeding over desert dunes while the action focuses on Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) herself.

The story of Furiosa spans a period of 15 years and highlights the origins, career and a quest for revenge of the wasteland warrior. Meanwhile, Miller has already (via Entertainment Weekly
However, a new Mad Max film based on Furiosa has not currently been officially confirmed. That will probably depend entirely on how Furiosa does at the box office. According to initial reactions, George Miller should not disappoint. We can get a concrete picture of Furiosa from then on 23. May 2024 make.
