Don’t worry, Fallout: London’s developers are busy fixing its problems, and there’s already a mod that fixes the biggest problem – your crippling addiction to dog food.

After the release of Fallout 4’s massive Fallout: London mod, those who have delved into the mod have encountered a number of teething problems. The good news is that the modders are taking the issue very seriously and are busy preparing a fix, though it will take outside modders to help those whose characters can’t stop munching on pet food.

Since its release in London last week, due to the inevitable delays caused by Fallout 4’s next-gen update, it’s received a lot of positive reviews (we’ve enjoyed what we’ve played so far), but people have also been experiencing a lot of crashes and other bugs.

While there are steps that can be taken to reduce the frequency of module crashes, Team FOLON knows that’s not ideal and has released a statement outlining its plans for dealing with these teething issues beyond the helpful triage that’s taking place in the Fallout: London Discord server.

“We are working hard to fix reported issues and hope to release an update soon,” the team wrote, thanking players for their patience and all the feedback the mod has received. They added that people who are experiencing issues should consult this installation guide to make sure they are following the installation process correctly in case any problems arise.

One of the issues that will be fixed in the first update is “a bug in the way player health was handled after a train crash, which disproportionately reduced the maximum health of characters who otherwise had higher health or stamina levels.” So if you’re killed instantly by Radshrews, you’ll either need to wait it out or – I’m sorry – do some math.

Seriously, take a look at the Discord post below by the mod’s lead author Callum, and either get out your calculator so you can use Fallout 4’s health scaling calculations to figure out what your maximum health should be, or cheat by consulting this chart.

Before we get to that though, you’ll be happy to hear that one modder has taken it upon themselves to address a problem that those of you who have managed to overcome your teething problems may have – a severe dog food addiction. Yes, for some reason the mod treats pet food as chemicals, and I’ve let it affect my character deeply.

While treating this addiction to Prilladog isn’t too troublesome, it can be expensive, but modder Misslune’s “Dog Food Addiction Remover” is available, which will allow you to chow down on meat without the worry of becoming an addict. Be warned, though, they recommend making sure you’ve dealt with any dog food addiction your character may have before installing it to avoid any problems that may arise.
