Bethesda Softworks has announced on its forum which has released an update for DOOM and DOOM II that includes many improvements. The patch is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android. Among all the improvements, one stands out above the rest. Now both titles they run at 60 fps compared to 35 fps from previous versions.
As for the rest of the improvements, they have added the aspect ratio option, the function record and load games quickly, a level selector, the possibility of change weapons with the directional pad, raise the brightness even more and a new smaller HUD for split screen games.
The next franchise title, Eternal DOOM, will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 20, 2020. Later he will do it on Switch. For now, id Software has not set a release date on the Nintendo console.
