If you love DOOM Eternal, you should mark October 26th in red in your calendar. Then id Software will release the update 6.66 for the fast-paced shooter and that brings a long-announced special feature with it.
With the update, DOOM Eternal finally gets the announced single-player horde mode, in which you can really exhaust yourself. An invasion mode was originally planned in its place, but it was put on hold, on the one hand due to the pandemic situation, on the other hand because players apparently had a lot of fun with the master levels.
The Horde mode is also accompanied by Battlemode 2.0 and two new master levels. A good reason to dig out the shooter again and treat yourself to a good pinch of adrenaline. Of course, there was also a new teaser trailer to get you in the mood:
