Doom's arsenal does not have room for a pistol, but it did exist sometime during development.
The Pistol of Doom 2016 is by far its least powerful weapon. This is the first toy for you, it is a stepping stone to the game's more powerful toy.
Eternal doom There is no pistol, but it turns out that it was done at some point during the development process. Game developer Dave Oshry found the pistol in the game files. With the magic of Cheat Engine and the console command (g_enablePistol 1), Oshry managed to load it into the game.
As you can see, this pistol has unique animation, sound and appearance.
So far, you may have heard that DOOM Eternal originally had a pistol, yes it is still in the game and can be accessed via console commands (using the cheat engine)
I heard it was scrapped because it was not suitable for the fighting process.
