The new RPG epic Dragon Age: The Veilguard should also be convincing musically. With Hans Zimmer, the team has brought a star composer on board.
Electronic Arts and BioWare today announced details about the soundtrack for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The same applies here: don’t mess, mess! Because: Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, a real heavyweight from the music business, contributed to the music for the role-playing game. He was assisted by another well-known name, Grammy winner Lorne Balfe.
The two composers have worked on several projects together over the course of their careers and worked closely with the BioWare development team for Dragon Age: The Veilguard to create a soundtrack that celebrates Thedas and his heroes.
To accompany the game, you can pre-order the official soundtrack album on iTunes and Amazon Music from October 18th – the actual release will take place on November 1st, 2024. To celebrate the announcement, the main theme of Dragon Age: The Veilguard was also released as the first single released from the official soundtrack. This can now be downloaded and streamed via all common music streaming services such as Spotify or iTunes.
Zimmer is one of the most famous composers in the world and has, among other things, contributed the epic music to films such as “Dune”, “Interstellar” and “Inception”. The Dragon Age: The Veilguard soundtrack is now Zimmer’s first video game soundtrack in almost 10 years.
