Dragon Age Veilguard offers free content that fans will enjoy

Following Dragon Age Veilguard’s first patch, new free content is now available to collect in the game, which should please fans.

The first Dragon Age Veilguard patch was released on November 7th. Or on the same day as the famous N7 Day, the annual meeting for Mass Effect, BioWare’s other flagship license. In order to kill two birds with one stone, the American studio’s latest hero fantasy role-playing game adds free content related to the legendary space opera.

Mass Effect comes to Dragon Age Veilguard with free content

Even though we unfortunately have no news about Mass Effect 4, BioWare did not leave empty-handed during N7 Day. In particular, we were treated to the announcement (and confirmation) of a series that is actually in production for Amazon Prime Video, with Fast & Furious 9 screenwriter Daniel Casey attached to the project. The studio also took the opportunity to incorporate a bit of Mass Effect into its latest game, Dragon Age Veilguard.

This collaboration comes more precisely in the form of free content and, more specifically, rather beautiful armor, clearly reminiscent of Shepard’s emblematic N7 suit, but necessarily with a heroic fantasy touch. To collect all of this in Dragon Age Veilguard, you must first have completed Harding’s quest called “The Singing Blade.” Once this is done, you will find a chest near the workshop at the Lighthouse, the center of the game, which contains free cosmetics related to Mass Effect. The Citadel’s favorite armor? This could well be the case for fans of BioWare’s SF license.

You can preview these free skins via the X.com post on the official Dragon Age account, available below. Unfortunately, we’ll have to come back later for some interesting information about Mass Effect 4. Since Dragon Age Veilguard won’t be hosting any DLC to begin with, BioWare should now be moving into full swing on development for this highly anticipated title. Michael Gamble, its producer, promises us photorealistic graphics and the same sophisticated tone as the legendary trilogy. Fingers crossed.
