The third installment of the Creed saga has generated great expectations among fans of the franchise after several quite successful films with the African-American actor Michael B. Jordan starring in the film
The film promises to offer even more spectacular boxing fights than in the previous ones, and according to what the actor who plays the son of the legendary boxer Apollo Creed has been able to tell, they were inspired by various animes to make this third part.
Through an interview with IGN, Jordan commented that there have been several animes that have inspired the work: Boku no Hero, Naruto, Hajime no Ippo and Megalo Box have been some of those mentioned by the actor, but the anime that began the snowball was Dragon Ball.
“There’s a punch in the fight between me and Damien where we mimicked a scene from Dragon Ball Z,” Jordan comments to IGN. It seems a bit strange to think about it, but it is true that there are many fights in the work created by Akira Toriyama where only fists are used.
If we think a little, we believe that the scene to which the American actor could refer may be the punch between Goku and Majin Vegeta in which they both punch each other at the same time and create a memorable scene that any fan of the franchise will easily remember.
