Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has not only shown that there is still room for innovation within the games of this manga and anime franchise, with a semi-open world RPG proposal that not only shows the most epic battles of the saga, but which adapts the whole life and secondary activities of its characters from a less conventional point of view. As if that were not enough, it brings new details of the universe of the series, such as the relationship of Dr. Gero and Android 16, and the model that was taken to create this character.
The Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot artbook includes an elaborate organization chart that shows all the threads and connections between Dr. Gero and the Androids he created as part of the Red Ribbon Army. Many connections were already known to most fans, but after confirming that the model of Android 16 was Dr. Gero's own son, the game's artbook names the character, known as Gebo in its English version as a Twitter user shows.
So, it seems Kakarot's art book name's Gero's are that 16 # was modeled after as "Gebo", per the English translation.
Interesting reveal. But it's also kind of a terrible name. (Maybe I'm just scarred by Beebo from Legend of Tomorrow. XD)

Likewise, the fact that Android 21 is not referred to in this section, which, after its appearance in Dragon Ball FighterZ, also makes an appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. According to its creator, Akira Toriyama, this character would also have ties with Dr. Gero's family, suggesting that Gebo's mo ther was the chosen model
