Following a new preview of the game through a trailer released as part of last week’s Tokyo Game Show, Dragon Ball: The Breakers is back in video game news with the deployment of an open beta ahead of its release.
A trip in preparation
In November 2021, Bandai Namco and Dimps, the studios behind the two titles titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse, are changing course and opting for a different and somewhat unexpected concept. A daring bet that will surprise players when Dragon Ball: The Breakers is announced. Indeed, against all odds and like a Dead By Daylight, It’s an asymmetric multiplayer game in which seven players play as survivors whose goal is to work together to escape the clutches of another player playing as the villain.
If all the characters are logically from Akira Toriyama’s famous manga, the last villain to join the cast is none other than Majin Buu. As the last of the three main antagonists of the series Majin Buu succeeds Frieza and Cell at the side of the villains, while the farmer rises to the ranks of the survivors. After the Tokyo Game Show bringing this latest news, the two studios continue to prepare for the game’s release by offering offers a new beta phaseopen this time.
What dates for the open beta?
During the previous closed beta periods, in December (on PC only) and then last August, a privileged few were already able to get their hands on Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
