Mike Laidlaw, former creative director of the Dragon Age series, has left Ubisoft, Quebec.
After spending more than a year at the studio, Laidlaw announced on Twitter last night that he was leaving from Ubisoft Quebec.
He joined Ubisoft in December 2018 as creative director of the unannounced Triple-A project. He previously worked as a creative consultant for the project for nine months.
Jeff Skalski, senior producer of the new project, which has not yet been announced, said in a December announcement. "Ledlaw" is the "perfect fit" of this game.
My quick update!
Today (January 31) is my last day at Ubisoft. Many thanks to my talented and hospitable people in Ubisoft Quebec City.

Laidlaw has been in the game industry for 14 years. Although he is famous for "Dragon Age", he has been engaged in the business of biological products, such as "Jade Empire", "Mass Effect", etc., and Leaving the company in 2017.
Laidlaw also served as creative consultant for Waylanders, an independent title for the work of Spanish studio Gato Salvaje, which will be released on Steam sometime this year.
