If you want to play the recently announced Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake on your PC, you can now take a look at the system requirements for the RPG comeback.
Just a few days ago, Square Enix announced the return of the original Dragon Quest trilogy in the form of HD-2D remakes. While parts 1 and 2 will follow in 2025, the third part will begin this year. The system requirements have now been announced quite early in advance.
The new edition of Dragon Quest III: Seeds of Salvation, originally released for the NES in 1988, is said to be available from November 14, 2024 not only for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, but also for home computers. Steam has now published the system requirements, which are of course quite manageable for a new edition in this form. Accordingly, a relatively large number of gamers should be able to play the remake on their computers.
At a minimum, 8 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 450, an Intel Arc A380 or a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 as a graphics card are sufficient. The processor is also quite frugal with a minimum of an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or an Intel Core i3-6100. The overall system requirements are as follows:
