Yes, the drug dealer simulator does not seem to take itself quite as seriously. "Become a Dope Ninja", says the trailer, accompanied by loud gangster rap. The latest game from the Thief simulator makers leaves you again live out your criminal fantasies virtually – with humor and surprisingly good content.
The simulation released on April 16 does a good job on Steam: 93 percent of the over 530 reviews are positive. But especially the Twitch streaming platform gives the game a boost. At its best, it had over 43,000 simultaneous viewers there. So what's behind the drug dealer simulator?
Build a dubious empire
In the drug dealer simulator you start as a small, insignificant drug dealer on the street. But by smuggling fabric for individual customers and large gangs, you're slowly working your way up. The police are of course always on your heels – but what can you do to build a criminal empire?
Steam users take it with humor
The Steam reviews read as entertaining as the game itself. »I did it for myself. I liked it. I was good at it, very good. And I really lived in the process, «quotes a player from the television series Breaking Bad. Another tells his story with a wink in his review:
"You wake up at 8:00 am The sun is shining through the window, the birds are singing. 'Another nice day', you think. Then you realize that yesterday you were fired for COVID-19 and no job, no money and none Have future […]
Then a crazy idea comes into your head: 'Marc, you will become a drug dealer! "Https://www.gamestar.de/"
The drug dealer simulator has a similar appeal as the Thief Simulator and many other humorous simulation games: Simply create a little virtual chaos. And above all, watch them create virtual chaos, as the popularity of the game on Twitch proves.
Many of the Steam users also find that the scope is not enough to motivate them for a long time. The developers obviously want to counteract this, because a number of new features and contents are already planned. Exactly which is not known. However, the roadmap consists of a few rudimentary pictures that provide information on the following updates.
