Dying Light 2: “Meet the people of the Bazar”

Bazar, Dying, Light, meet, people

You made it! The outskirts of Villedor are behind you, you’ve fought your way through the underground of Dying Light 2 and dozens of zombie hordes and are now finally among the survivors of the bazaar. Hakon has taken you under his wing, you want to continue with the main quest, but your mission journal only shows a cryptic message:

Meet the people of the Bazaar, in English: Meet the residents of the bazaar.

But even if you’ve chatted with everyone, doesn’t the story continue? No problem, we’ll help.

The Only Way Out: This is how the quest continues

The Only Way Out is the main quest in the starting area of Dying Light 2 and is intended to introduce you to the individual areas of the game world, for example to the survivors’ bazaar, which is an important anchor point for all kinds of activities. What the game doesn’t tell you: The quest is also an invitation to take care of side quests.

Techland assumes that in any case you will be seduced by the question marks on the compass and accept side missions. Only when they are done does the main quest continue. For example, take care of the quest for water shortages, do a bit of junk in the open world, maybe spot one or two more jobs. Even the failed inventor apprentice right in the bazaar has an easy first task.

After a while, Hakon should radio you and the story will continue. So again to write down:

  • First chat with everyone in the bazaar. You can visually highlight all dialogue NPCs with the Q key, click through the conversations.
  • Then look for question marks on the compass and activate the first available side quests.
  • Do some of them, call Hakon and the story will continue.
