Dying Light 2 There is a new patch that addresses issues reported by players.
It also focuses on technical and gameplay improvements such as ragdoll mechanics, story progression glitches, eliminating death loops, and fixing many co-op issues.
This patch includes fixes to story progression, UI/UX, Nightrunner tools, combat improvements, night balancing, final boss fights, outro, as well as balancing and technical improvements.
It also adds a brutality pack that brings immersive detail to melee combat.
The patch also fixes blocks in multiple missions to remove crashes or black screens in some cases, level 4 chases are now more difficult, growler’s sense range has been increased, survivor perception now works correctly and can be used without any Situations trigger cooldowns, i.e. an issue where opponents can’t react properly to other players and don’t change their behavior, which can cause some glitches during co-op play, and it’s now easier to spot Banshees and Banshees in infected crowds at night charger.
Improvements to the options menu information architecture include a dedicated accessibility tab, a high-performance preset that optimizes display graphics, allows you to play Dying Light 2 on older PCs and laptops, DX12 cache-related improvements have been introduced, and The game now runs smoother on first launch.
AVX technology is also no longer used in the game, improving issues related to game crashes at launch.
Patch 1.2 is currently available on PC and will be available to console players in a few days.
