Techland has been providing the first Dying Light with new updates and content for a long time – and Dying Light 2 is now seamlessly continuing. Now there is the fresh gut feeling update for the zombie sequel – and that makes the title a bit bloodier.
With “gut feeling” Techland has released a major combat and physics update for the current Dying Light 2: Stay Human. This makes the title even more brutal, because you get more opportunities to literally take opponents apart with intense bone crunching, spectacular visualizations and effects.
In addition, the fresh update offers the following features:
- Pilgrim Outpost – go to the outpost, pilgrim! – The Pilgrim Outpost is a new in-game objective for activating bounties, tracking community events, and earning Pilgrim Tokens. These tokens can be exchanged for unique, exclusive weapons, outfits, and charms at the new Pilgrim Outpost. New bounties are offered every week – www.pilgrimoutpost.com
- Gear transmog – keep style and stats – Style should never be compromised – players can now maintain their stats and look good at all times with the gear transmog feature.
- Weapon Crafting – find and upgrade weapon blueprints – The new weapon crafting system offers full control over equipment. Blueprints can be found around town or obtained as rewards. Visiting a master craftsman allows each design to be upgraded, increasing the weapon’s stats with each level.
From today, April 20th, the new event “Viral Rush” will also start, which will last until May 4th. Those who reach the personal and global event goals during this period can also unlock the “Rahim Bundle” with two exclusive skins and a weapon. However, as time progresses, more and more angry afflicted will appear that will require advanced combat and nightrunner skills to survive.
Last but not least, Techland also confirmed the plan to also provide Dying Light 2 with updates and content for at least five years.
