Recently, speculation and reports about Dying Light 2 picked up speed again after it had been quiet for a long time. Now there is new gameplay that lasts for minutes and finally a specific release date.
Techland finally got it right last night when it comes to the long-awaited zombie sequel Dying Light 2. This has not only been given the subtitle Stay Human, but now also a release date: From December 7, 2021 you will be able to go back to the battle against the undead.
The developers made the corresponding announcement as part of the first episode of “Dying 2 Know”, a new in-game web series that will allow you to immerse yourself deeper into the world of the game until its release.
The first edition brought among other things the release of extensive first gameplay with it. You can watch the corresponding gameplay trailer with a running time of almost eight minutes below. You will get to see the current status of the title as well as first excerpts from the new story. Even players who didn’t play the first part should be able to immerse themselves in the sequel without any problems.
Pre-orders are available now. There are three retail editions available: Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s, as well as three digital editions: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. Anyone who pre-orders a version of the game will receive an exclusive digital reload pack, which includes a unique outfit, weapon and paraglider skins, as a pre-order bonus. You can find more details on all available editions and their content here
If you want to catch up on the first part, you can secure the new Platinum Edition. Not only is Dying Light itself available here, but also all DLCs on Steam, GOG.com, the Microsoft Store and the PlayStation Store (only for PS Plus).
