Techland recognizes plaguing disconnection problem Dying Light 2 Co-op, its fix is ”at the top of the list”.
According to the studioand it’s also addressing issues with redeeming rewards, codes, and other in-game content, including Twitch Drops from TechlandGG.
There seem to be other issues with the game, though, and we expect Techland to address them in time as well. Via the Dying Light subreddit, players noticed audio bugs on PC, and there were a few bugs that were causing issues with the progression of the story.
Other users have reported a build bug that will pop up a notification that they “leave the task area”. This will obviously kill the player repeatedly. There have also been reports of sub-par motion blur in Quality mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
While not a bug, some players have noticed the inability to remap the controls on the console, except for being able to change things around if you’re left-handed.
In the months leading up to the game’s release, Techland revealed that it had received over a thousand fixes and improvements. Yesterday’s day one patch for the game released, and it contains another thousand or so fixes and tweaks.
